How I can be more precise in my approach to practice

Vienna:
1. Sharp passes.
2. Straight passes to the person.
3. Taking good shots.
4. (Work on not) missing to the left.
5. Cut to the basket ( at speed, after every pass).

Jazlynn:
1. Sprinting while cutting or running to a spot in 5-out.
2. Getting ready for practice faster.
3. Hustling to water and back.
4. Paying attention when coach is talking.
5. Trying my best in everything I do.

Katie:
1. Stay two steps away form the 3 point like in 5 out.
2. Cut all the way underneath the rim.
3. Always keep ball in power position.
4. Slide, don't run, on defense.
5. Talk / communicate.

Nilijah:
1. Pass straight to the person.
2. Shoot right at the backboard on a lay up.
3. Go to defend right away.
4. Do not give up when you're playing the back (on defense).
5. Set a pick right away if needed.

Tayja:
1. Pass and cut all the way to the basket every single time.
2a. Play help defense.
2b. Guard the ball, not a person.
3. Cheer teammates.
4. When I put the ball on the floor, explode to the basket for a layup.
5. Don't react. (NEXT PLAY!)

Zaria:
1. When I shoot a free throw, I make sure I follow the finger and make sure my shot is straight and accurate.
2. When I make a pass, I always look and aim the ball to where it needs to go.
3. When I dribble, I need to make sure I have my arm guarding the ball and I am looking up.
4. If I am in 5-out position, I will make sure I am at least 2 feet off the arc and I am trying to get open for a pass.
5. When I cut to the basket, I always look up for a pass, and I'll be ready to shoot.

Sofia:
1. Stop talking.
2. Listen closely.
3. Hold the ball firmly (power position).
4. Don't talk when Coach Robin is talking.
5. RUN (hustle)

Chloe:
1. Being on time.
2. Not talking while I'm in line for a drill.
3. Listening to all directions given.
4. Pushing myself to do my hardest every drill.
5. Not fooling around during practice.

Hannah:
1. Getting my homework in on time.
2. Making better passes.
3. Being an encouraging teammate.
4. Running for everything.
5. Reviewing my PGC notes more frequently.

Emma:
1. Look at the cutter.
2. Run on my cuts.
3. Look at the ball when I cut.
4. Dribble towards the basket (in a straight line.)
5. Look up when I am dribbling.

Brooke:
1. Listen.
2. Put in 100%.
3. Come prepared.
4. Pay attention when the coach is talking.
5. Stay focused even when I am in line for drills.

Developing a Stronger Core

Do you think your core is just your abs? WRONG! Your core is everything below your shoulders and above your knees. And your core is the center of everything you do on the basketball court.
